When one is early-in-career, there is always a question of whether one should opt for a corporate career compared to working in academia. 

For today’s discussion, my definition of corporate careers will cover big tech, MNC, manufacturing, engineering, software, finance, consulting, and similar jobs. My definition of academia will cover jobs in universities like Assistant Professors, Associate Professors, Full Professors, Research Scientists, Postdocs, and so on. Most academic jobs typically require a doctoral degree. Lets us jump into the analysis.
